International Business Machine Corporation is an American company in New York. The companies core services are software development, hardware infrastructure, consulting services and server solutions.
The company was founded in 1911 with two merger companies CTR Computer-Tabulating-Recording Company, Tabulating Machine Company, the International Time Recording Company and the Computing Scale Company, which names was latter change to IBM.
It recently announced that it will capitalize in the Internet of Things for 4 years worth $3 Billion USD. It will focus on the IoT Cloud for industries with business intelligence.
In lieu, IBM will offer customised solutions for enterprises connect services with cloud.
The new venture will focus on services on US Government agencies and local municipalities. It will spearhead the innovation of services of each cities providing its local services.
